The present model is Ref: 5170G crafted in 18K white gold featuring a white doctor’s dial (pulsation scale) with applied Breguet numerals and baton-style hands.

Compared to its predecessor, the 5170 has two major changes – the size and the movement.

This model sits on the elegant side featuring a 39.4mm case (5070s were 42mm), and is powered by a manually wound Patek Philippe in-house caliber CH 29-535 PS with 65 hour power reserve and impeccable movement finishing stamped with the ‘PP’ seal of approval.

The overall aesthetic is absolutely brilliant with the thickness being just 10.9mm, and the slim lugs arching slightly around the wrist. It comes on a hand-stitched alligator strap with quick-release spring bars, and an 18K white gold Calatrava deployant clasp.

A perfect balance between form, functionality and design, this elegant master piece is as pure as it gets – an ultimate expression of a very fine chronograph.
