The 43mm diameter solid 18kt rose gold two-body case, curved lugs, and thin concave bezel are brushed and polished. The dial is silver with a recessed off-center time dial at 12 o'clock with applied rose gold Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, and a white gold epee indicator hand. There is a recessed running small constant seconds subsidiary dial at the 6 o'clock position with Arabic numerals, markers, and a rose gold epee indicator hand. It has a black railway-style 60-minute scale around the perimeter with Arabic numerals every 5 minutes, indicated by a center white gold epee hand. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 46-hour power reserve at full wind. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It is fitted on a brown alligator leather strap with an 18kt Rose Gold tongue buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It includes a signed screw-down winding crown, and there is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured by 6 screws, and engraved with the serial number.

This IWC Portuguese Regulator Collection IW544402 has a mechanical manual winding IWC caliber 98245 movement with oeil-de-perdrix and Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 22 jewels (several mounted in gold chatons), a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a Glucydur beryllium alloy balance with precision-adjustment cams on the balance arms, balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and a large index regulator with an engraved scale on the train plate. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5Hz).
