Description
The DB25 collection consists of De Bethune's more traditional models. But make no mistake - even the most conservative of De Bethune's watches are a far cry from what you'd think of as traditional Swiss watchmaking. Even though this DB25 Moonphase has a round case, it's fitted with skeletonised lugs that give it a space-age feel.

Another example of De Bethune subverting expectations is on the dial. On paper, it's a classically Swiss design, with Roman numerals, blued hands, a railroad minute track and a guilloche dial. But in reality, it's once again a unique interpretation of Swiss traditionalism. The thermally blued hands are a custom order from the original client, with the normal variant coming with skeletonised hands. This makes it a uniquely collectible example.

The reverise is similarly a feast for the eyes, with a large manually-wound movement powering the watch. The twin barrels are positioned under the plate, which has been finished to a high standard with Geneva stripes and hand-polished bevels.
