Pierre Kunz, born in 1959, is an independent swiss watchmaker established in Geneva. After completing his studies at the celebrated Vallée de Joux watchmaking school, he worked for a number of years in the workshops of Victorin Piguet where he constructed a variety of grande complications from start to finish. Later, he opened his own business restoring antique clocks, it was not long before he returned to some of Switzerland’s leading brands to make more grande complications,.

In the early 2000's, Franck Muller offered him the chance to create his own models at the famous Watchland Park at Genthod. Pierre Kunz creations are often associated with retrograde hands to create original designs with a unique character.
